DV8 Designs were delighted to be commissioned to assist in the refurbishment of the The Yacht Club Restaurant at the prestigious Butlins Bognor Regis resort. The ‘premium dining’ restaurant offers a large buffet selection for those visitors choosing to stay half board at the award winning resort. DV8 has transformed the existing restaurant by adding new signage, colour schemes and timber wall panelling complete with nautical mirrored port hole features.

With the brand new contemporary Ocean Hotel opening in 2009, Butlins has recognised the need to update other areas of the resort attracting a wider range of clientele. DV8 are currently looking at other areas of the park which form part of Butlins refurbishment programme, such as the main Centre Stage entertainment zone, and VIP area.

DV8 Designs were commissioned to complete the interior design specification and space planning of Medlock Interiors new offices in Oldham. The brief included the space planning of the open plan office space, toilet and refreshment facilities, conference rooms and private directors office space.

DV8 Designs worked closely with Medlock Interiors to ensure that the space planning of the office space was completed in such a way as to achieve maximum productivity from staff. Value for money was a key consideration when specifying finishes to the building and it was felt that any material used should be of a practical, durable and cost effective nature without compromising the final solution. A key element to the design is the feature staircase, which is situated in the main reception area.
