DV8 have been featured in an article on Warrington Worldwide this month as Gulliver’s World has unveiled a new restaurant we have designed. The new Diamond Lil’s Restaurant concept is located in the Western World area of the park, and will offer families a more varied choice healthy eating when they visit Gulliver’s, as part of the theme park’s pledge to provide nutritional options. The restaurant’s wild wild west theme of design includes a huge 30ft mural painted by local artist Carla Horne and specially imported genuine Wild West posters.
Gulliver’s managing director Julie Dalton said: “It’s important for us to work with local businesses like DV8 Designs, and we’re delighted with how the restaurant has turned out – we can’t wait for customers to see it.
“It offers our customers an alternative to the main restaurant and snack bars, and there will be plenty of healthy choices to suit the whole family.”
Managing Director of DV8 Designs Lee Birchall said: “It’s fantastic that Gulliver’s have had the confidence to work with a local architectural and interior design practice such as ours, rather than choose a nationally known practice to carry such an imaginative project.
“It goes to show Gulliver’s commitment and foresight to keep choosing local businesses, who intrinsically have Warrington’s interests at heart.”

The team at DV8 Designs is certainly being kept busy at the moment after the company were awarded the new project of a large multi million pound contemporary leisure centre development.
The new project, partially funded by Sport England, will include a gym suite, spa, swimming pool and large restaurant allowing DV8 to flourish in many different aspects of their extensive design knowledge.

It is an exciting time within the DV8 office as we welcome two new members to the team. Darren Curry, a highly qualified architect, and Scott Ivison, a highly skilled architectural technician joined our team at the start of the month. Both Darren and Scott have settled straight into the office environment and have contributed already with the ever increasing workload.
