DV8 Designs were recently asked to write an article for Hotel Business magazine. The article was to discuss what important points you should consider when creating the perfect boutique hotel. Lee Birchall, Managing Director at DV8, was able to draw on his years experience in designing hotels around the country as well as his knowledge gained from his other work in the leisure industry, and wrote a comprehensive guide to the perfect boutique hotel.
The overriding message from the article is that each boutique hotel should be unique in design and create an intimate feel. When creating a boutique hotel, the proprietor can have a certain degree of creative freedom. However, defining the look and feel of the hotel requires a great deal of attention to detail. This highlights the importance of employing a good interior designer.
