Comissioned by Trust Inns, DV8 Designs have transformed the formerly named ‘Frog and Nightingale’ on the canal side in Chester, into a modern yet comfortable public house. The refurbishment to the existing public house now offers a welcome ambience to attract a wide range of clientele throughout the day and evening trades. The main objective of the brief was to enhance the existing food offering and capitalise on the location of the public house by introducing a raised seating deck and cordoning off a private patio area with views over the canal.

Working closely with Adnams Southwold, DV8 Designs assisted their shopfitters with the design of a basement wine tasting cellar at their flagship kitchen and cellar store in Bloomsbury, London. DV8 Designs completed a general arrangement plan and joinery details for wine display, as well as specifying finishes and colour schemes, and sourcing furniture and lighting in order to achieve a fluid design. DV8 were able to provide information with on a quick turnaround in order to achieve the tight timescales set to deliver the project on programme for an official store opening!

December 2011 – A new DV8 Designed italian restaurant has opened on Liverpool Road in Manchester City Centre. Per Tutti opened its doors on Sunday 4th December for a sneak preview of its new menu, and was a roaring success. The modern bar restaurant is open to the public now, with an official opening ceremony taking place in the New Year. DV8 Designs are very pleased with the final fit out and will be very proud to showcase it in our portfolio in the New Year.  Watch this space!!
