Commercial Project Spotlight: St Nicholas House
Located in the heart of Liverpool’s commercial district, St Nicholas House is a prestigious office building. DV8 commercial were appointed to look at redesigning the communal areas, drawing inspiration from the iconic St Nicholas Church, cited opposite the building, the colour palette chosen reflecting the greenery of the churches gardens.
Our design team wanted to compliment this commercial workplace environment with foliage aspects throughout, as industry predictions show continued popularity of biophilia (bringing the outside in), using elements of nature, both in terms of materials and colour.
Additionally, by using the focal outline of the iconic church windows, we created a stunning geometric pattern that became the glue throughout the design philosophy.
