The Hesketh, Cheadle Hulme
The Hesketh, formerly known as The Hesketh Tavern, is a local community pub that has been running since the 1860’s. The venue has been sympathetically renovated to reflect the heritage while remaining traditionally charming, functional and family friendly.
The flow of the pub was slightly amended to ensure that the functionality during busy periods was sufficient. As well as this, we extended the existing Main Entrance, which sits to the rear of the pub. In doing this, it formed a more impressive and focused arrival to the pub for customers.
The redesign features worn leather contrasting against wools to soften the whole aesthetic and retain the welcoming family vibe. An earthy colour scheme runs through the entire venue with dark ceiling colours to not only reflect the contemporary ‘London based pub’ feel that the client was trying to achieve but also helps in creating a more cosy and intimate atmosphere.
