The Lock Keeper, Chester
Comissioned by Trust Inns, DV8 Designs have transformed the formerly named ‘Frog and Nightingale’ on the canal side in Chester, into a modern yet comfortable public house. The refurbishment to the existing public house now offers a welcome ambience to attract a wide range of clientele throughout the day and evening trades. The main objective of the brief was to enhance the existing food offering and capitalise on the location of the public house by introducing a raised seating deck and cordoning off a private patio area with views over the canal.
