DV8 were appointed to consult on and design a multi-use advice centre for residents of Rochdale Council, a new innovative space that will serve as the community hub where locals can access housing support initiatives and advice and importantly additional amenities including accessible meeting spaces, flexible-use private booths and an interactive children’s play area.

Mindful of the audience, DV8 ensured that design inspiration delivered a welcoming haven and incorporated relaxed, calming, unique and flexible spaces that catered for the sensitive nature of the topics dealt with here. Colours and materials chosen to support relaxation were greens, terracotta’s, along with bright colours complimented with terrazzo finishes, design touches included biophilic a proven fact that plants and living walls within an environment bring joy and positivity for the visitors and a healthy work environment for the team.
