We designed the iconic retro burger bar inspired by the 80’s film, ‘License To Drive’; Archie’s to open their first branch in Liverpool. Covering two floors, it was at the time the largest venue for the brand. Briefed to create a space where the brand ethos was core whilst creating a dynamic stylised place to want to visit.
The design had to be robust, versatile and practical, covering their burger, waffles and shakes day menu, into late night trade. We had to consider the flow of the space, in order to close off certain areas as well as be inviting and accommodating to customers. The Archie’s team are very brand orientated, so through design, we placed slogans onto bric clad walls, added neon’s to attract trade and had their logo stitched into the seating booths.
This design was a showstopper with quirky elements and novel decoration.
