Appointed by brewer and pub retailer Hyde’s Brewery to transform Wirral’s historical landmark former Police Station on Telegraph Road in Heswall into a new Hyde’s premium dining and social destination. Renowned as an architectural jewel, Heswall Police Station was originally designed by local architect Harry Beswick, built in 1911 from red brick with sandstone and regional detailing including the county flag of Cheshire corn sheafs at the centre of the County Constabulary plaque.
'The Harry Beswick' pub, nestled in the heart of Heswall, is a testament to the power of architecture and design. This grand transformation is more than just a pub; it's a journey through time, a harmonious blend of the old and the new. The stately police station building, with its rich history, has been given a fresh lease of life.
