Hospitality Design Team DV8 were appointed by ASM Global for the AO Arena new VIP bar and reception area.
Design objectives needed to achieve a new contemporary space that allowed for flexibility whilst appealing to all demographics, ensuring the feel was about a luxury welcome that worked across day to night.
Design inspiration complimented the AO brand with a colour palette chosen of tonal greens, natural timber provided warmth and texture and faux planting to soften the space. Lighting treatment differentiated zones and created key lines of sight to reflect the ‘electric’ nature of AO.
The final makeover resulted in replacing the existing main bar with elongated new bar with back bar feature display, a new champagne bar at the entrance. Refurbished WCs and new fixed seating and upgraded loose furniture.
